"Your Web, Your Way" has been our motto since we began building our very first website back in 2003.
So what is it all about? You might say it's the same as that age-old retail business adage: "The customer is always right."
But at Garrett Multimedia, "Your Web, Your Way" is more than a feel-good saying. It's a business principle. One that has guided everything that we do for nearly 10 years.
Your Web, Your Way merely means that it's your website and that we're going to build it according to your wants and desires. It sounds overly simplistic. And, yet, we've heard horror stories from clients who broke their budgets for a new or revamped website, only to have the end product not meet their needs or requests.
There's a certain process we go about when we undertake your web project. The most important part of it is that we are not paid until you are satisfied with your finished website. There are no upfront costs, no design fees charged before the final product is unveiled.
From the beginning, we'll consult you about the basic layout, color scheme, and other details of your site. You can specify as much or as little as you wish. We can build your site's layout from scratch and submit it to you for approval, or we can take your ideas — few or many — and work them into the layout.
Once we have a layout completed, we'll submit it for your initial review. Think of it as the foundation for your website. If you're happy, we'll start building the walls and the roof. If you're not, we'll make whatever changes are necessary to meet your approval, even if it requires scrapping the design and starting over. Once we've finished the website, we'll again submit it for review. After any necessary changes are made, the site will be published. Then, and only then, do we submit an invoice for payment. The invoice will never be more than the initial quote, ever.
