We're all about handsome websites that reflect the time and effort that went into them, but here's a reality check: an aesthetically-pleasing website is worthless if no one is looking at it.

We're convinced that websites are only as good as the information they portray. A modern, sleek design shows your visitors that you're serious, but it's finding the answers to their questions that keep them coming back time and again.

When we contracted with Scott County, Tennessee, to revamp the county government's web presence, we worked with county administrators to use three separate, yet correlating, websites to present the information to the public: a government website, an economic development website and a tourism website. By themselves, each website can stand alone and serve visitors quite well, whether they're a resident or visitor looking for information on the community's taxes, libraries, government services or other county function, or whether they're looking for information on the county's tourist destinations or industrial data. Together, they're networked to present all that the community has to offer to the web audience. Social media is incorporated in the website, as well as open-government information, such as meeting agendas, public notices, and more.

"What can I put on my website?" is a question we're frequently asked. Our answer: "The sky is the limit." If you're going to have a website, you might as well utilize it.
